Negotiation & Brokering

The Intersect team can provide negotiation & brokering support between entities on a wide array of healthcare transactions. This support can range anywhere from a turnkey project whereby Intersect handles the entire negotiation from beginning to executed documents or as limited as remaining in the background and providing client’s team with strategy or analytic support.

Strategic Planning

The Intersect team has done a significant amount of organizational strategic planning work and we can put this experience to work for you. This support can range anywhere from a turnkey project whereby Intersect directs the effort in conjunction with executive leadership, we can support client’s planning team with analytics and background work, or any combination that is deemed accretive by client.

Implementation Support

The intersect team has extensive experience implementing a variety of new population health programs, information systems, organizational structures, committees, incentive programs, ingesting acquired entities, care management programs, department structures, analytic tools, etc.; and we can help streamline your efforts based on this experience.

Interim / Intermediate Management

Intersect leadership can serve in a catalyst role for organizations in any number of executive roles, including but not limited to:

Intersect typically deploys an IRT approach as described below:

  • Interim/Intermediate Management – In this phase the Intersect executive is quickly emersed into the role following meetings with key stakeholders to assess what role the clients expect this position to serve. IHS team member then works to develop a plan in conjunction with client and begins to execute.
  • Recruitment – Intersect will work with client HR team or executive search firm of choice to help ensure the type of skills necessary for success in the role are sought. Intersect will also be involved in the interviewing process to provide input to client’s hiring manager.
  • Transition – Once a candidate begins Intersect will assist in the onboarding emersion bringing the new executive up to speed on details and progress on existing work, staff assessments, etc.. Intersect’s general approach would be to essentially melt into the background and support the new leader for a 1 – 4 week period as requested by client.

Analytics & Modeling Support

Intersect can provide a wide range of analytic support, including:

Dissolution

Despite best laid plans and intentions, sometimes companies find themselves wanting to walk back previous aggregation efforts. Given the significant level of aggregation that has occurred in recent years, the cultural challenges associated with these transactions, and reasonable divergence of stakeholder objectives; disaggregation support is sometimes needed. Intersect can facilitate this transition back to separate entities as a neutral party, to help achieve an amicable split.
